[2010-11-04] A working group convened by the Austrian Standards Institute analyses the feasibility of a European Standard on Halal Food. Its first meeting was held in Vienna in late October 2010.

[2010-05-06] ONR 142001-1: Europe’s first normative document on Islamic financial services was published on 1 May 2010 and presented to the public at the Concordia Press Club on 6 May.

[2009-03-02] Seit 1. März liegt das europaweit erste normative Dokument für Lebensmittel vor, die nach islamischem Recht als rein/erlaubt (halal) gelten. ON-Regel ONR 142000 soll Zugang zu islamischem Markt erleichtern.
