The roll and importance of standards for the global market - "Austrian Standards: Global Standards for Trade" - was an issue during an information day to which Austrian Standards Institute invited the "Club for Trade Delegates" on May 13 2009.

The club is a contact platform between accredited trade and economic delegates and the Austrian business community. The members are not only the Austrian ambassadorial councillors and representatives of international organisations, but also Austrian enterprises and economic, political and cultural associations take part.
