Quality Management Scheme for Mobility Management | Qualitätsmanagement-Schema für Mobilitätsmanagement

A guideline for implementing quality in mobility management will be provided by a CEN Workshop Agreement (CWA) which was published in October 2009.

This document was elaborated as a joint effort of MAX, a research project on mobility management and travel awareness in transport within the 6th Framework Programme of the EU, and the CEN Workshop MOBIMA, the secretariat of which is held by Austrian Standards Institute.

This CWA describes a quality management scheme for mobility management (QMSMM) which was developed to aid consultants, authorities or interested organisations in introducing and maintaining a MSMM in an effective and efficient way.

This scheme consists of four basic parts containing twelve elements for the implementation of quality in mobility management.

When developing this scheme emphasis was put on applicability and user-friendliness. Thus, the trial application of this scheme in the cities of Kortrijk (Belgium) and Lund (Sweden) and the experiences gained were important steps when developing the QMSMM.
