Becoming an expert - step by step

If you are interested to collaborate in the preparation of a national, European or International Standard, and command the conditions required, please send us your curriculum as well as the reason(s) for your wish for active participation.

Your application will be submitted to the competent body which will decide on your admission in accordance with the  Internal Regulations of Austrian Standards Institute.

After your successful appointment as new expert in a technical body of Austrian Standards Institute, your complete data will be recorded in our central expert database.

You will receive the invoice for the non-recurring fee for the Starter Package. After payment you can benefit from the advantages of your Starter Package.

The "Starter Package" includes your personal access to the information platform "My Committee".

Whe accessing "my Committee" for the first time, you will be asked automatically to accept the so-called member declaration. Therewith you declare that you will respect the provisions of the Internal Regulations of Austrian Standards Institute.

As soon as your approval has been received, the admission procedure is concluded.

In "My Committee" you will also find the date of your first meeting.

Important Note: This process (incl. „Starter Package“) applies to all persons that be nominated at deputy from the experts.
