Comments
Before a standard becomes a standard it has to be submitted to public enquiry as draft standard. Everybody is free to give his/her opinion on this document.
The deadline for comments on a draft standard is indicated on the cover page of the respective draft standard and expires normaly after six weeks.
Therefore, you are kindly asked to observe the time period for comments fixed for the document. After expiration of this period the comments will be discussed within the technical committee responsible for the respective standard.
Form
If you want to submit comments or proposals for improvement of a draft standard, please use the table which you can download as form (format Word, 37 kB) to your PC.
European Standards
Comments on contents of European Draft Standards (e.g. ÖNORM EN, ÖNORM EN ISO, ÖVE/ÖNORM EN) should be formulated in English, since most of the technical committees agreed upon English as working language.
Proposals for editorial improvements of German versions of European Draft Standards may be submitted in German language.
National Standards
Technical and editorial comments on national draft standards (e.g. ÖNORM A, ÖNORM S) can certainly be formulated in German language.
Instructions for completion of the table
- If possible, please use the font Arial, size 9 point
- Do not modify the formats
- Use a separate line for each individual comment. Indicate the numbers of the respective clauses in the column "Clause-No.".
Using a unified system for your comments you contribute to their efficient processing. Please send the filled-in table by e-mail to the responsible Committee Manager of Austrian Standards Institute.
Thank you for your cooperation!
