Delegation of Chinese

In August 2010, a delegation of Chinese standardisation organisation visited the Austrian Standards Institute for two weeks of training.

The workshops focused on the organisation of international standardisation activities — from setting up a technical committee to drawing up standards.

The training formed part of an EU-funded knowledge transfer project with China. Subsequently, the delegation travelled on to other European project partners.

In addition to the Austrian Standards Institute, the Netherlands Standardisation Institute (NEN) and the Swiss Association for Standardisation (SNV) take part in this project.
